Scarlet 3R is an acid dye  known for its bright red colour and good light. It is a water-soluble, anionic dye that appears as a powder and is typically sold in industrial or technical grades.

Applications

  Textile Dyeing: Primarily used for dyeing natural and synthetic               fibers, like wool, silk, and polyamide.

   Leather: Applies to the coloration and finishing of leather products.

   Paper: Used for colouring paper.

   Wood Stains: A common application for staining wood surfaces.

   Light fastness: 4-5

   Washing fastness: 4-5

   Perspiration fastness: 4-4.5

   Rubbing fastness: Moderate

  Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents.
