BASIC ORANGE 1

Chrysoidine-R is a basic, orange-colored azo dye . It is also known as Basic orange 1 and is used as a biological stain in microscopy and as a dye for materials like leather, paper, oils, and waxes.

Applications

  Dyeing: Chrysoidine-R is widely used to dye textiles, paper, and             leather.

  Coloring agents: It is also used to color oils, fats, and waxes for               polishes.

  Ink and paint: Its applications extend to ink and paint                              manufacturing.

  Light Fastness: Good

  Washing Fastness: Good

  Rubbing Resistance: Moderate

  Prespairation Fastness:  Poor to moderate

Handling and storage

  Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area to prevent the formation     of vapors.

  Storage: Store in its original container in a cool, well-ventilated               place.

  Incompatibilities: Keep away from strong bases, strong acids,               sources of ignition, and direct sunlight.

  Container: Keep containers closed when not in use.
