Applications

Textile dyeing

 Used to dye natural fibers like wool and silk, resulting in vibrant              yellow shades.

 Applies to synthetic fibers like nylon. 

Cosmetics and personal care 

 Used in soaps, shampoos, creams, and other water-based beauty        formulations.

 Also used in lipstick and other cosmetic items. 

Properties

   Light fastness: 5-6

  Washing fastness: Good

  Perspiration fastness: 4

  Rubbing fastness: 3-4

Handling 

 Ventilation: Use only in well-ventilated areas, preferably with local        exhaust ventilation or in a chemical fume hood.

   Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

o  Wear chemical safety goggles, rubber gloves, and suitable                       protective clothing.

o  Wear an approved respirator to avoid inhaling dust.

  Hygiene: Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Remove                         contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

  Avoid: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not ingest or         inhale.

  Static and Ignition: Take precautions against static discharge. Use      non-sparking tools and ground equipment, as the product can be a    combustible dust. 

Storage

  Location: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.

  Protection: Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

  Containers: Store in tight, light-resistant containers, and keep them     tightly closed.
