Direct Green 78

Direct Green PLS is a powdered, water-soluble dye primarily used for dyeing protein and cellulosic fibers in the textile and paper industries. It provides a vibrant green shade with good light and wash fastness, is easy to use with a neutral or slightly alkaline dye bath, and is economical as it does not require a mordant. It is typically composed of complex sulfonic acid salts belonging to non-metalized AZO structures.

Applications

 Textile dyeing: It is widely used for dyeing cellulosic fibers like cotton    and viscose due to its water solubility and direct application.

  Paper coloring: It is used to color paper products.

  Leather dyeing: It can be used to color leather goods.
