ACID RED 52

Acid Red 52 is a synthetic, water-soluble dye from the Xanthene chemical family, also known as Acid Rhodamine B. It is a dark red powder with high fluorescence that is primarily used for coloring wool, silk, and nylon textiles, as well as leather and paper.

Properties

  Light fastness: 6-7 to 3-4

 Washing fastness: 5 to  5-4

 Prespiration fastness: 3-4

 Rubbing fastness: Good

Handling

 Application: Apply in mildly acidic to neutral conditions for best            stability.

 Heat: Avoid excessive heat, as ironing fastness is low.

 Washing: Be aware that washing can cause fading and staining,          especially on certain fibers.

 Wastewater: Manage wastewater appropriately, as it may require        treatment to remove the dye before release.

Storage

   Container: Store in a tightly closed container.

   Environment: Keep in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse.

   Sunlight: Protect from direct sunlight.

  Moisture: Keep away from moisture to prevent degradation.

  25 kg HDPE drums or bags: This is the most common standard size       for bulk industrial use.

 25 kg corrugated boxes: An alternative to drums and bags for the        25 kg size.

 10 kg drums or bags: Available for smaller orders.
